I had such an amazing relaxing time!!!! The staff members where very nice and all my knots were melted away. I did 36 minutes with their standard massage, 18 minutes neck/shoulder, and the last 18 minutes lower back. The infra red heat helped my back relax better. After that, I did the massage chairs which was fantastic too!!!!

So thankful to start the year with all these wellness perks! I love massages and definitely needed one after the workout at Yoga Fest this past weekend lol

Ceragem is in a plaza that also has a hair salon and other small shops. There was plenty of parking in the afternoon.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Ms. June Lee who explained the process and answered all the questions the group had. I was very impressed that they even treat cancer among other things.

We the laid in these beds with hot stones that use infrared rays to expand blood vessels to aid circulation. They use heat and pressure on all your acupuncture points, so it's great for those that want to try acupuncture without the needles.

We started from level 1 and could go all the way to level 6, over 140F. The heat was definitely bearable and the pressure was nice and deep. We could also choose between whole body stretch, neck and shoulders and lower back. I tried the first 2 and definitely enjoyed the whole body stretch better. Felt so good!

Afterwards, we were treated to more massage on some chairs that ranged from $2-7k!

Prices for the sessions are very reasonable! I can see myself popping in for a 20 minute session for $10.

Thank you Ceragem and Yelp OC for introducing us to this technology and helping us relax in the middle of the day!

I have been needing a massage for who knows how long. Reason I've been putting it off is because of how busy I've been along with the financial investment. Massages can be pretty pricey and if you don't know if the massage therapist, masseuse, or massage technology is even trustworthy, it's a steep price to pay.

I was really excited when I saw Ceragem Healing Center featured as a Yelp Elite Perk. The only other time I've gotten a massage was at a spot in Westminster and honestly, they left me more in pain after my session than I had been in when I arrived. Luckily, I didn't have that experience with Ceragem. Their team was very informative about how their machines work and I was impressed by their knowledge of the field.

In preparation of my massage, I made sure to wear thin clothes and silence my cellphone. Nothing worse than getting into zen mode and having your relaxation interrupted by an annoying alarm, ringtone, or notification. I was really surprised to find out this business was Korean-owned and it actually made me more excited because I've had pleasant experiences with Korean spas before.

When you first arrive, the owner has you fill out a patient profile form then he explains from a technical and medical level the benefits of infrared ray massages. There were two different massage machines total that I got to try out. One was a massage bed that you take off your shoes for and lay down on for about 45 minutes. It was really nice because there were six different massage intensity levels you could choose from and the bed was heated! One of the employees even came by to offer me a blanket in case I was still cold. This massage bed was pretty delightful until it got to the portion dedicated to your neck and shoulders specifically, which I got pretty lightheaded and honestly felt like vomiting a little bit, LOL. I don't know if it's because I'm not used to elevating my neck (I normally sleep with a very flat pillow at night or even without a pillow sometimes) or because I had coffee this morning (my body is very sensitive to caffeine and having a few sips of coffee sometimes makes me want to throw up), but the constant movement around my neck around made me feel uneasy.

The second machine was a massage chair that I sat in for about 15 minutes. For their massage chairs, they also have you take off your shoes. You are given foot cover socks and gloves to wear when using the machine as a sanitation precaution, I'm guessing. I really liked the massage chair because it made me feel like I was encapsulated in a mini space rocket!!!! The massage chair adjusts to your body shape and pulls you in every positive way possible. At one point, I felt like I was elastic and my entire body was being stretched like Laffy Taffy. It was spectacular!

My main feedback is limiting the amount that employees are walking around in the area where massage beds are because it's relatively loud and distracting. I appreciate them making an effort to make sure we're comfortable and at the massage strength we want, but it would be better to integrate a quiet "press for assistance" button on every massage bed. That way customers can get help when they actually want it and can relax without distractions. If they could also dim the lighting more, that would help customers trying to nap during their service. Lastly, it would ideal if Ceragem could enforce that all massage clients silence their phones when using services because if one person's phone goes off, everyone in the business hears it.

Thank you to Ceragem Healing Services for hosting us tonight! I will be returning in the future with my mom because I'm sure she would enjoy an experience here. I will also be making sure I don't drink caffeine before to see if that has an impact on my next visit.

Love thy body, love thyself

Lucky Elites started the new year with some much needed TLC. Given designated appointment times, Elites had 54 minute customized sessions at Ceragem Healing Center on the Ceragem Master V3. Incorporating moxibustion, acupressure, massage, chiropractic & thermotherapy via radiant far infrared heat, we each had 3 tailored phases on the Ceragem Master V3, followed by 20-30 minutes in the various massage loungers.

June Lee, the other half of this mom & pop establishment, greeted me upon arrival & gave our group an introductory speech. After filling out paperwork, we were wisked away to our individual machines and happiness ensued.

Phase 1 consisted of full spinal stretching. Everyone was started on the lowest levels of intensity & heat. We were given additional thermal jade rollers to rest on our abdomens, assuming to stimulate digestion/metabolism. After a few minutes, I quickly asked Mr. Lee to bump me up to max intensity & heat, as I have severe scoliosis in my lumbar spine & an anterior curvature of my cervical spine. Now that's what I'm talking about! The thermal jade rollers slowly travelled up & down my spine, elevating to stretch my spine every so often.

Phase 2 & 3 were up to us. I decided upon neck/shoulders, then lower back. Both also on max intensity & heat. My time on the Ceragem Master V3 ended with more spinal stretching.

To end our treatment, we were taken to the massage loungers for full body massages. The lounger units were also for sale, and with the respective price tag next to each, I naturally claimed the most expensive lounger. After approximately 10 minutes, June asked if I wasn't receiving enough pressure. She then directed me to the massage lounger across the room. I found the new machine, indeed, rougher, but thought the first machine conducted better foot massage. Still, I got bonus time! Winning!

Gratitude to Hayley & Mr. & Mrs. Lee for a wonderfully therapeutic day. My muscles are loosened up & I'm feeling as limber as a cat. I'm seriously contemplating buying a treatment bundle, as Ceragem Healing Center is both beneficially therapeutic & incredibly affordable.

Shoutout to Ajay, Cat, Jen & Lili.

Excelsior!

I do not enjoy massages & people touching me but when I read about the infrared rays and rollers helping reduce inflammation, I was hopeful to be chosen & RSVP'd "yes(!)"

A side note: I have Lupus and have been trying to contain my flare since October. It has been three solid months of aches & having to stretch limbs to do simple tasks like brushing my teeth. I am quite willing to try almost anything at this point. Tylenol & Advil don't work on joint pain.

The stretching sessions helped my aches & tension throughout my body. There were 6 levels to choose from & I wimped out on 2. :

Afterward the rollers, June led me to the room with the chairs & I thanked her for the chance to try all the equipment. I asked her about the machines helping reduce inflammation & how I have Lupus. She looked over at me & led me past the chairs to another room. She said her daughter has Lupus too. In the back room, there were 4 cots with full body length infrared ray pads to lie on. She instructed me to lie down for 30 minutes & put a blanket on me. I got up when I heard her saying "bye" to fellow Yellpers but June told me the longer I lay, the more helpful it would be. I honestly teared up because I felt she truly had my interests at heart.

I walked out feeling better than I ever had in the last 2.5 months. Shoutout to June & YELP for such an amazing experience. I will definitely be back! Xoxo
